Ibadah – It is an Arabic word meaning service. In Islam, ibadah is usually explained as “worship”, and ibadat – it is the plural form of ibadah, it refers to Islamic law (fiqh) of Muslim religious rituals.
Once you know that the ultimate goal and reason behind your existence on earth is Ibadat, you should choose that type of environment which meets your goal.
In Islam, ibadah is normally explained as “worship” and means obedience, submission, and devotion to the Almighty.
Ibadat involves what is recognized as the “pillars of Islam”:
The profession of faith (shahadah) – It means “There is no god other than Allah. And Muhammad is the messenger of Allah”.
Ritual prayer (salat) – You should pray five times every day.
Fasting (sawm) – You should keep away from eating and drinking during daylight hours especially during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.
Trip to Mecca (Hajj) – Once in your lifetime you should visit the holy place “Mecca”.
